ABSTRACT

In this note, the authors give a list of 8 wild plants observed actually in Lebanon, but some details such as their colour or their size are slightly different from the description given by Mouterde. Sometimes the fruit description does not exist because this part was not found when such endemic plants were discovered. Among them: Astragalus ehdenensis, Astragalus kurnet-es-saudae, Atriplex zahlensis, Micromeria barbata, Tamus orientalis, Isatis cappadocica ssp. macrocarpa. The variety Astragalus tribuloides var. thapsacenus is mentioned for the first time from Lebanon. Schoenus nigricans was not completely described by Mouterde
